Communication with Us
We are very pleased to announce the launch of the School Communicator – an innovative and exciting new way of communicating with parents. The School Communicator keeps you up to date with what’s happening at the school. It updates automatically and brings you all the latest news and calendar events. It also contains a photo gallery, contact list and a range of useful links and documents.
In order for us to improve our communication with you, we encourage you to install the School Communicator on both your computer and mobile phone. It is safe and secure and is used daily by more than ¼ million people worldwide
Getting started
- Installing the School Communicator is very simple.
- For your computer, download the installer from the School Communicator website:http://www.six-delta.com/downloads.html. While downloading click “save” and thereafter “run”.
- You may install the School Communicator on as many computers as you like.
- You can also install the d6 School Communicator on your mobile phone. We highly recommend this option for maximum benefit.
- There are specific apps available iPhone and Android. All you need to do is search for ‘D6 School Communicator’ in the Android and iOS app stores.
- For Windows and Blackberry you are able to visit www.school-communicator.mobi in your phone’s browser. Select your school and then bookmark this page for future use. Please note that the mobile version does not support active alerts or personalization.

News and relevant information is added regularly by the school. Your School Communicator will automatically update as new information is added. There’s nothing further you need to do

How will the School Communicator affect your computer?
The School Communicator is a lightweight application and should have no noticeable impact on your computer. In some instances, you might need to change your anti-virus or firewalls settings to allow the School Communicator to run. If you are on a company network you might need to ask your network administrator to assist you. Over 250000 parents are already successfully using the School Communicator, both at home and at work.
Bandwidth
The School Communicator typically uses about 30Mb of data a month. This will fluctuate a little from month to month depending on how often the school updates the content, but should never be excessive

Parents should ensure they have downloaded the D6 application and have selected to receive only messages specific to their child/children’s section/s. DIPS-G will continue to send important information to parents through the D6 application.
Parents can find the contact email addresses of DIPS-G leaders and key staff via e-mail. Feedback will be given within 48 hours. Important messages from the Superintendent will also be communicated through the regular communication platforms
- The DIPS-G Weekly Plan will continue to be shared with all stakeholders during the period of forced school closure.
- Students may communicate with their teachers through Microsoft Teams if applicable. Parents can contact any of their child’s teachers via e-mail and expect a direct response within 48 hours.
- Kindergarten and Elementary School parents can also communicate with their child’s class teacher through Class Dojo.
